Social Media Guidelines

Official PTA messages on social media will strive to:

• Be factual

• Be respectful

• Hold ourselves and others accountable

• Leave room for other opinions and convey curiosity about different perspectives

• Consider who may feel included/excluded by the messaging and strive for inclusivity

• Be open to feedback

When advocating/engaging as a member of the Glencoe community on social media, we ask that you:

• Engage respectfully

• Don’t feel you need to respond to every post or comment

• Focus on facts and the policy/situation being addressed and refrain from personal attacks.
