The Glencoe Parent Teacher Association (PTA) brings families, teachers, staff, and community members together to support a thriving school.
Our vision is for Glencoe to feel like a warm, creative, and connected community where families feel welcomed, informed, and able to contribute in meaningful ways.
The PTA helps our community turn shared ideas and needs into action. We work with families, teachers, staff, and school leadership to:
Fund classroom, library, and school resources
Organize community events and family activities
Coordinate volunteers
Support school communications
Improve and beautify our campus
Advocate for student health and well-being
Build connections among current and prospective Glencoe families
Our goal is to help more people participate, connect their interests and skills with real school needs, and make thoughtful decisions about where our collective time and resources can have the greatest impact.
Glencoe PTA is a local chapter of the National PTA, a nationwide network of families and educators working to support children, schools, and communities.
Membership is free and accessible. You can become a Glencoe PTA member simply by attending a general meeting. There are no membership dues for families to pay. The PTA fundraises to cover those costs so that finances are never a barrier to participation.
Members can take part in discussions, help shape PTA priorities, and vote on decisions brought before the general membership. Attending a meeting does not commit you to volunteering, serving on the Board, or taking on additional responsibilities.
No! PTA membership is only one way to participate in the Glencoe community. You do not need to be a member or attend meetings to:

Help with a specific event or project
Donate to a fundraiser
Support a classroom or school need
Share ideas or feedback
Connect us with a community partner
Some people participate throughout the year, while others help with one event, make a donation, or offer a particular skill when it is needed. Every contribution matters.
